The Gateway Centre in Ravenscliffe celebrate after receiving a gold award

Council gives awards to Bradford child carers

A total of 175 staff received awards to celebrate their achievements in Early Years, Childcare and Play.

Last night’s Bradford Council ceremony at the Midland Hotel recognised playworkers, childminders and early years workers.

A total of 75 awards were handed out to professionals, ranging from childminders to those who run nurseries with outstanding Ofsted reports.

People who have achieved qualifications, such as the NVQ Level Three Children’s Care Learning and Development or Early Years Professional Status, in the past 12 months were also honoured.
