Dan Waller’s late goal saw Ventus United win the Newlands Cup final with a 2-1 victory over holders Idle FC.
They had trailed 1-0 at the break after a mistake in midfield saw Idle break and deliver a right-wing cross that Ryan Firth finished off with a looping header.
But in a high-quality game, and after missing a host of chances, Ventus levelled in the second period.
This time Idle erred, allowing winger Liam Kinch to pounce.
In the dramatic closing stages, both sides had opportunities to take the glory but Waller eventually sealed it for Ventus, the defender scoring after a scramble in the box.
