Steph will talk about the importance and difficulties of impact assessment for voluntary organisations as well as some of the practical outcomes of research, in particular,work designed to test certain assumptions about multi-purpose community organisations and the difference they make in relation to: supporting innovation;generating economic wealth; sustaining community networks; and creating positive social change.
