A former railway line used by joggers, dog walkers and ramblers is to be cleaned up today.
The track from Wharncliffe Grove, Eccleshill to Fagley, Bradford, suffers from litter and fly-tipping and is being spruced up by staff from Bradford Council’s Bradford East Area Co-ordinator’s office, colleagues from the Gateway Community Centre and Ravenscliffe and Newlands Community Association.
Councillor Carol Beardmore, chairman of Bradford East Area Committee, said: “This will hopefully be one of many sessions to clean up the old railway line and make it a pleasant area for everyone.”
