Grant Application

The Newlands Community Association seeks to provide support to individuals, groups and organisations who wish to contribute to and enhance the communities within the Newlands area.

The NCA is willing to consider any grant application but is particularly interested in supporting applications which benefit:

The NCA is also interested in supporting applications which are innovative and seek to address specific local issues. The Newlands Community Association will not provide funding for;

Also retrospective applications will not be considered.

All projects must demonstrate inclusivity. No project will be funded where by statement or implication any group or individuals will be excluded. This does not mean however that projects aimed at supporting, for example young people, single parents, disabled or elderly groups would be excluded. It should be taken to exclude any project which seeks to exclude members of any religious or ethnic group or one which does not comply with Equal Opportunities.

Priority will be given to local activities, involving local people and benefiting the local community.
